Moore Park Beach
has a present population is around
1700 with most people living on the coastal fringe, that means less than 2 kms
to the beach for anyone! This represents about 500 households. Many of
these people work in Bundaberg across the range of employment -
professional, clerical, labour, self employed etc.
Obviously in an area like this there are retirees
living out their dream retirement as well as those who have made compromises
to live here and work part time in order to have the time to appreciate the
quality of life they now have.
There are an increasing number of young families and
the roll at the local primary school is steadily growing.
Sales of houses and land in the past 5 - 7
years have shown a steady market from the cities both nearby and interstate.
More recently, Bundaberg people are looking for space and peace and quiet
but proximity to their city.
