RECENT CHANGES AND
FUTURE PROJECTS |

One of the local developers has
recently built a link road between Kingston Park and Moore
Park Beach. Important for
Moore Park is that it connects Moore Park very directly to the Booyan boat ramp on the Kolan
River – a popular fishing and launching site. It also makes Kingston
Park a very short 2 minute trip to the beach. There are lovely acreages
here.
Moore Park State Primary School opened Feb
2004
The residents of Moore Park recently
overwhelmingly approved the Community Association's suggestion to have the
locality name changed to Moore Park Beach. This
has now been formally recognised by DNR. By identifying the area with the
word Beach we avoid confusion with Moore Park, Sydney. It will also increase
casual traveling visitor numbers and property values.

This is a very complimentary business to the Club
licences already in Moore Park Beach and the meals licence that Zest Cafe
has. This reflects the rapidly increasing population and visitor
numbers. |
